What does Docket actually do?
Docket is the closest competitor we have, and pretending otherwise would be silly. Its Demand Agent talks to website visitors by voice or by text, answers real product questions, qualifies intent, routes the visitor to the right rep and books the meeting. A feature it calls Showroom runs live guided tours of the product. The answers come from what it calls a Sales Knowledge Lake, ingesting CRM records, Gong call recordings, Slack, Drive, Notion and your docs, so it is working from what your sales team actually says, not just your website.
Where does Docket genuinely win?
Almost everywhere a revenue team would look. It knows who the visitor is before they speak, because it reads CRM history. It routes to the right rep and writes the conversation back into the CRM. It ingests fifty-odd sources, which is a real advantage when the honest answer to a prospect question lives in a call recording rather than a help page. If you have a sales team, a CRM and the budget, that is a more complete product than ours and the integrations are years ahead.
Where does Agent247 do something different?
Price and how you buy it. Docket publishes $3,000 a month for up to 20,000 monthly visitors, $4,000 above that, billed annually, and its own page says a free trial is not available today. Every plan starts with a demo call. Agent247 costs nothing for the first hour, bills by the minute after that, and you install it yourself in a few minutes without speaking to anyone. On the product side the difference is narrower than the price gap suggests: we read and click the live page every turn rather than working from an ingested knowledge base, so a site that changes weekly needs no re-indexing.
How do they compare side by side?
| Criteria | Docket | Agent247 |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price on their own page | From $3,000 a month, billed annually | First hour free, then by the minute |
| Free trial | Not available today, per their pricing page | The first hour |
| How you start | Book a demo | Sign up and paste a script tag |
| Knowledge | CRM, call recordings, docs, 50+ sources | Reads the live page every turn |
| Sales stack integration | Deep, and the point of the product | Books meetings, hands over the transcript |
Ours is on the pricing page, theirs is linked below, and the full category matrix puts both next to the other eight.
So which one should you pick?
If you run inbound at a company with a sales team, a CRM full of history and $36,000 a year to commit, Docket is the more complete buy and we would say so on a call. If the annual contract is the blocker, or you want to see whether visitors will even talk to an agent before committing a budget, start with us and keep the option to leave. The live demo mechanics are the same idea either way.
